CAROTENES with vitamins C and E

Traditionally used to encourage a healthy tan.

Overview

Beta-carotene is the most important compound of the carotenoids group. It is considered to be a provitamin A because said provitamin is created in the body. Beta-carotene is a natural pigment that can be found in many fruit and vegetables, particularly in carrots.

Therapeutic indications and uses

Beta-carotene intake, which is a compound from the carotenoids group, allows our bodies to transform it into vitamin A as required, while the remainder is transported by the blood flow and deposited in skin cells. In this way a quick natural-looking tan is obtained, while vitamins C and E protect the skin from premature aging.
