Centella asiatica contributes to reducing cellulite.

The tissue human beings possess under their skin (underlying tissue) consists of three main elements: adipocytes, crosswire fibers and blood vessels.
Said tissue might suffer from a lipodystrophy, known as “cellulite”, which is a term that has been adopted to distinguish dimple-shaped skin (orange peel skin) that can usually be found in hips, thighs, buttocks, arms and the lower abdomen in women. Although this lipodystrophy does not present the typical problems found in serious pathologies, it is often the origin of outstanding aesthetic problems that have a negative influence on the psychological well-being of a person.
