Traditionally used as a buccopharyngeal supplement
Propolis is a substance produced by bees with the resins and secretions taken from certain trees. The beta-glucosidase secreted by bees during the gathering and making of propolis allow propolis to enjoy pharmacological properties. The chemical composition of propolis shows that it contains aromatic oils, balms, resins, pollen and wax, which turns it into a product with considerable balsamic and antiinfectious attributes.
